About me

Hello, thank you for looking at my website. My name is Nathan and I have been photographing professionally since 2012, but the passion started many years before that.

During the day I am an Aeronautical Systems Engineer having spent 10+ years working on helicopters and by evening/weekends I am looking through a camera whenever possible. I am helped enormously by my wonderful wife Katie, a full time mummy and owner of a great craft company. She plays a big part by organising most of the photo shoots and with the post shoot process.

Together they make a great team offering a professional service with a personal touch.

 I always put 100% into every photo shoot or wedding I am attending.

Shooting style

I take a photo journalistic and creative approach in all shoots, especially when photographing weddings. My aim in doing so is to tell the story of your wedding day in an artistic way. I shoot your day in a very unobtrusive way, capturing all the emotions that weddings offer - the laughs, the smiles, the tears.

I begin my wedding days with the bride and her bridal party to capture their preparation, all the excitement as she has her hair and make-up done. I am there throughout as the bubbly is sipped, and memories are made, all the while capturing those candid moments.

Every couple and every wedding differs, and I adapt my day and style to suit. I am more than happy to work with my brides and grooms with any requests they may have.

As well as weddings I also offer the experience of a studio style photo shoot for families, couples and newborns. This can either be done in the comfort of your own home (Perfect when you have nervous little ones) or at my own home.
